Eighth grade isn’t the usual, mysterious, and awkward transition from middle to high school for 14-year-old Abigail Brewer. A new school year has started at Robinhood Elementary School’s Eighth-Grade Center, and all of Abigail’s excitement quickly fades when she receives an unexpected assignment from her Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP), Ms. Plewitt. Abigail does all she can to avoid the assignment until she is surprised with a soul-stirring and tumultuous project in her Creative Performing Arts elective. It sets the stage for what Abigail calls a not so exciting adventure!
